Sarah Harrison

In 2006, while teaching elementary school in Mexico, Sarah discovered that profound truths arise from within when you combine mindfulness, breath, stillness, and motion. From that moment on Yoga has taught Sarah to listen within, bringing joy from the heart and onto the mat, and enabling her to lead her students to safely find their own path in this wonderful life.

A long-time teacher of children and adults in multiple settings, Sarah is a 500hr certified yoga instructor and a graduate of the University of British Columbia. Trained in Classical Hatha, Yin , Restorative, and Laughter Yoga, she brings elements of each of these disciplines to her mat classes. This leads to light and open yoga concluding with deep relaxation. Strength, flexibility, breath awareness, and vision are all developed directly and subtly through the student's own experience.

Deeply committed to community development Sarah has found yoga to be a sublime path to connect people, knitting the fabrics of lives and dreams together. By combining her experiences as a volunteer, a teacher, a student, a compassionate heart, a lover of natural medicine, and a seeker of personal growth Sarah steps onto the mat as a teacher who can inspire development by giving you the space to find your own path, your own truth, your own next step along the journey.
