Laughter Yoga Workshop

Saturday, May 8th 1:00-2:00pm

Release your inner child, and learn how to laugh for no reason at all. Laughter has been documented to reduce stress, pain, and depression and improve creativity, vitality and well-being. Laughter yoga, developed by Indian physician Dr. Madan Kataria, is a series of breathing and movement exercises designed to stimulate laughter and cultivate an “inner spirit of joy”, the ability to laugh spontaneously, take ourselves and others less seriously, and view our surroundings in a positive light. Take the old proverb “laughter is the best medicine” to heart and get a healthy dose in this 60 minute laughter session. Laugh as you have never laughed before and feel refreshed, invigorated, and relaxed.
