Robyn’s passion for yoga began in 1999 when she first stepped onto a yoga mat. She’s been hooked ever since! Completing her teacher training through Trinity Yoga in 2006, Robyn continues to expand her knowledge of yoga through on-going training or workshops. She extends gratitude to all of her teachers that have guided her along the path that yoga has offered her.
Yoga has brought tremendous joy to Robyn’s life and she seeks to share the beauty and benefits of yoga to all who attend her classes. She exudes a natural lightness in her teaching and hopes that she can help others open up and share their inner brightness too.
Along with teaching yoga and heading up the Yoga Spirit studio, Robyn loves to ski, surf, rock climb and be close to the ocean. She is also a 4th year student of Naturopathic Medicine at the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine in New Westminster. Christof Milando
Christof entered into the world of Yoga mainly for physical benefits, hoping to also reduce the high level of stress in his life, and conquer a debilitating digestive disorder called Crohn’s Disease. Along the way he discovered the beauty of a meditative, breath-focused practice, instead of purely physical. He quickly began to gain his health back, along with his stress vanishing. He has found inner peace and a confidence previously unknown to him throughout his life. Now, Christof genuinely enjoys leading others through their own personal growth and assisting them in overcoming whatever they may need, whether physical or beyond. Christof was trained through Prana Yoga College in Classic Hatha Yoga, with additional certification in Yin, Restorative, and Vinyasa. Christof reads his students very well, which makes his classes suitable for all levels. His classes are known to be transformative, deep, rejuvenating, mindful, and meditative - but not too serious. If you have ever met him, you know he is always happy and smiling, hoping to share his contentment with others. His soulful voice will soothe you to your state of surrender.

Claudia NoBauer
"Claudia has been practicing yoga since 2003 and teaching since 2008. She has trained with numerous instructors from different yoga and dance traditions. This gives her a wide knowledge base to draw from on the many types of yoga offered in North America. Claudia’s classes are a unique soulful mix of breath, sweat, asana and music. She encourages a compassionate mind and body, while making suggestions to push you a little further or take a step back when needed.
Dawn Hampton dance legend born in 1928 said, “You go to class and you learn the steps and you learn the moves. Then you get out on the floor and throw all that shit out the window and dance.” Claudia does her best to offer this lesson to her students, providing them with the fundamentals needed to be safe and the space to explore and be free within their bodies." Nadine Agosti - prenatal
Nadine teaches yoga because of the joy it brings her. She is a certified yoga teacher with additional training in a variety of styles of yoga including prenatal and mom and baby yoga, restorative, hatha, vinyasa flow and yin yoga. Her classes combine a strong (but not hard) physical practice with meditations to bring you to a state of relaxation and ease. For her, Yoga is the vehicle used to promote balance, self- awareness and joy. You can also expect a focus on alignment, breath work and safety while finding your inner balance and joy. The flow and can be done at the students own pace and she throws in a little quirkiness and fun into the mix to keep it real. As she believes self awareness is key to a balanced life (on or off the mat ) she invites students to inquire within by drawing on the wisdom of a variety of yoga styles and teachings to enhance this aspect in her classes. In addition to being a yoga teacher Nadine is a trained photographer with a degree from ECIAD, and, so it goes, she loves the process of drawing out beauty from within whether she’s teaching, on her mat or with camera in hand. She hopes you your discover your own beauty the mat. All around town Nadine can be seen capturing life's beautiful moments in stillness.
Andrea Prior - Co-Owner
With a heart full of passion I continue to evolve, not only as a teacher of yoga, but as a student of yoga…..a student of life really. When I 1st started practicing yoga in 1999 it was mostly the fluidity and movement of it that drew me in, and the feeling this movement gave me kept me coming back for more. I found Yoga Spirit almost 5 years ago and immediately felt it as more than just a yoga studio; it is a space where I felt safe….a space where I felt at home. My distressed heart slowly began to heal and one day it clicked. I could feel the shift in my practice from simply making shapes with my body into connection and union with my heart. What began as a tiny flicker inside of me had become fully ablaze and so was born my desire to share this gift as a teacher of yoga. I completed my 200hr teacher training in 2009 and am now very honored to share in a partnership at Yoga Spirit as co-owner with Robyn. I am also currently attending the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition studying 1 of my other passions - food, working to graduate as a Registered Holistic Nutritionist in March of 2014.
Though my teaching I will encourage you to connect with your breath, to find its relationship with movement, and find union with your heart….to let go and allow the answers that rest in your soul guide your practice….on and off the mat.
Lou Lynn
I am originally from the UK and I moved to Vancouver in Feb 2007.
I have been a student of yoga for over a decade and have sought teachers worldwide to train with. I teach many styles from beginner hatha, Jivamukti, flow and power through to kids, families and prenatal because I firmly believe that it is never too early or late to start your practice.
Whatever style of class you choose, we come to our mats united in our ability to change our lives, those around us and the planet we share. What you can expect from my classes is to really start to connect to yourself, your body, your breath and your mind. In my classes we build on strength and alignment as well as working on the ease of our breath and the quietening of our busy minds. My emphasis is on having fun. letting go and smiling!
Lou is a E-RYT having gained her 200hr Hatha certification with Prana College of Yoga, Vancouver as well as studying with Sharon Gannon and David Life to become a 300hr certified Jivamukti teacher. Additional training includes the YogaKids Teacher Training Program, which is an extensive 310 hour children's specialism as well as being a Certified Infant Massage Instructor and a certified prenatal yoga teacher.

My personal love of movement is what I try to share with all classes, helping students to experience freedom in movement even when they are working hard. My background in movement began at an early age, with Pilates being introduced to promote functional muscular strength as a complement to ballet training. My practice has evolved to incorporate a more multi-disciplinary approach as I became more involved with athletic training and the instruction of group fitness classes. Yoga came later, when I rediscovered my love of dance could be found through an asana practice. Finding the freedom in movement with breath helped me balance out the stress I was finding in the academic world. From a scholarly level I have always been interested in the control of muscle function, completing my MSc in comparative physiology at Queen’s University in the spring of 2010. I am currently pursuing my PhD at SFU in Biomedical Physiology and Kinesiology.
My formal training in Pilates has been the mat program through Balanced Body University which involves the classical program mixed with a more contemporary approach utilizing current scientific research and understanding of biomechanics. More recently I completed a 200 hour interdisciplinary yoga training through Nosara Yoga Institute focusing on inquiry-based learning. I continue to further my education through personal practice and teaching, providing me unique learning experiences through the diversity of students I encounter. It is my goal to share with students an understanding of your own body and how to work efficiently, move freely and most of all enjoy the practice.

It was in dance class that I was first introduced to yoga. I've always been a mover and I find I can express myself with pure joy and honesty through my body where sometimes words can fail to do so. As my training in theatre performance continued, yoga became increasingly a part of my life and my way of being. It fueled my body with a passion that I thought I could only find through dancing, performing, and being outdoors. And then breathing, mindfulness, and asanas became more than just a physical practice. I developed deep connections with others based on trust and gratitude; I learned how to look within and trust myself; I discovered how much I love teaching.
After a wonderful year of traveling to 5 different countries, I completed my 200-hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training at Kushala Yoga in April of 2012. I instruct with attention to detail so that you hold every pose in the way best suited to your own body. My classes also tend to bubble with giggles and quirks, much like my personal nature. My aim is to create an environment where you too can feel comfortable enough to just be yourself.
Outside of the studio, you can expect to find me dancing, singing, hiking, kayaking, or snow shoeing. Or curling up on the couch in good company - sometimes you need days like that.
