Retreat Yoga Sessions & Workshops
During our retreat we will share in 5 yoga sessions. Each day will start with a 1.5 to 2 hour morning practice to wake up your body and mind while setting the pace and space for the day ahead. Before dinner we will have another 1.25 to 1.5 hour practice. The morning class is generally more powerful and energetic while the late afternoon class is designed to bring down the cadence of the day and create a grounded, relaxed state for dinner and the evening ahead.
We will also be sharing in two yoga workshops. These workshops can range from technique and alignment to more energy-related topics such as ayurveda and chakras. The workshop sessions are designed to take you deeper into the practice of yoga than what you normally receive in a typical class and have the opportunity to inquire and explore into the other limbs of yoga beyond asana (physical poses - only 1 of 8 'limbs' of traditional yoga)
All levels are welcome to the retreat, though I ask that if you are new to yoga that you plan on attending at least a few hatha or power yoga classes before the retreat and are familiar with Sun Salutations. I am drawn toward teaching flowing, vinyasa/power style classes with lots of variations so that classes are accessible to all levels yet still a challenge to those who have been practicing for a while.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate
